H&B Tribiotic Baby
Us adults have been dining out on friendly bacteria for years. But did you know that a supplement containing pre, pro and post-biotics could help support your baby’s health too?
A suitable from birth supplement, Holland & Barrett’s Tribiotic Baby is a pre, pro and pot biotic blend containing 5 clinically studied strains of bacteria, formulated especially for new-borns.
Containing a tailored blend of friendly bacteria, this powdered supplement supports baby’s good health by helping to ensure balance in their gut flora.
A convenient blend of friendly bacteria for babies
Easy to administer, Holland & Barrett’s Tribiotic Baby powder is simply added to expressed or formula milk once a day.
Which means no medicine syringes or spoons and no refusals from fussy babies who might be sensitive to unusual textures or flavours.
Clinically studied, this blend of specially selected ingredients has been carefully studied in babies.
Live bacterial cultures for top-to-toe health
Naturally occurring in our bodies and found in fermented foods, so-called friendly bacteria helps nourish our gut microbiome, where trillions of bacteria reside. A vegetarian-suitable supplement, H&B Tribiotic Baby contains a tailored blend of clinically studied friendly bacteria.
These bacteria reach the gut alive, where they help to ensure balance and diversity. Known as Lab4b, the particular live bacteria strains used in this supplement are specially formulated to reflect the microbiome of babies and young children and have clinical evidence of being administered to babies from day one for up to six months.
Pre- and post-biotics for complete balance
While live bacterial cultures are the headline news in most supplements, pre- and post-biotics are just as important, helping to give those all-important bacteria the ideal environment in which to thrive.
Holland & Barrett Tribiotic Baby contains GOS (galacto oligosaccharide) prebiotic fibre. Naturally occurring in breast milk, GOS fibre is used by the body to stimulate growth and activity in intestinal bacteria.
Giving your baby more of the good stuff produced by your gut bacteria, calcium lactate, otherwise known as lactic acid, is a product and post-biotic of bacterial fermentation.
With clean hands add 3 level scoops (2.5g) daily to expressed or formula milk, shake well. Do not add to hot milk. Do not exceed stated dose.
Potato Maltodextrin, Galacto-oligosaccharides(Milk), Calcium lactate, Lactobacillus fermentum, Lactobacillus Salivarus, Bifidobacterium Co-Culture (Bifidobacerium animalis subsp. lactis, Bifidobacterium bifidum), Lactobacillus Paracasei
